We think EC may also be called as Enrollment Certificate. Its called as PTEC certificate and is not liked to employees. Nowadays when GST registration is alloted to state authorities, they ask for PTEC number. When we did one GST registration in West Bengal, they asked PTEC and Trade License ( maybe it was because registration was for warehouse).
